Description

Continuous-discontinuous Fiber-reinforced Polymers : An Integrated Engineering Approach, Hardcover by Böhlke, Thomas (EDT); Henning, Frank (EDT); Hrymak, Andrew (EDT); Kärger, Luise (EDT); Weidenmann, Kay (EDT), ISBN 1569906920, ISBN-13 9781569906927, Like New Used, Free shipping in the US Discontinuous long fiber reinforced polymer structures with local continuous fiber reinforcements represent an important class of lightweight materials with broad design possibilities and diverse technical applications, . in vehicle construction. However, in contrast to continuous fiber reinforced composites, extensively used in the aircraft industry, there is still a lack of integrated and experimentally proven concepts for manufacture, modeling, and dimensioning of combinations of discontinuously and continuously reinforced polymer structures. This is partly ascribed to the complexity of the manufacturing processes of discontinuously reinforced polymers, with heterogeneous, anisotropic, and nonlinear material and structural properties, but also to the resulting bonding problem of both material book addresses these issues, including both continuous and discontinuous fiber processing strategies. Specific design strategies for advanced composite reinforcement strategies are provided, with an integrated and holistic approach taken for composites material selection, product design, and mechanical properties. Characterization, simulation, technology, design, future research, and implementation directions are also in the field of application of three-dimensional load-bearing structures, this book provides an excellent foundation for the enhancement of scientific methods and the education of engineers who need an interdisciplinary understanding of process and material techniques, as well as simulation and product development methods.

The book I bought was reasonably priced and when it arrived it was in the 'Like New' condition specified in the listing. However, when I saw that the seller had not shipped the book after more than 15 days had passed since my order I felt I must write to say that I had actually placed an order with the seller and inquire when it planned to send the book. The brusque reply was that a tracking number was available, but no number HAD been created until I pointed out that I had placed the order.

Item as described. Poly mailer, no padding. Description clearly states delivery window of several weeks. Yet I chose this seller because item is new. Purchased/paid April 16, shipped April 28, arrived Maryland to SC May 5.This after contacting seller on day 10 to ask why it had not shipped yet. Slow return communication requesting invoice number/transaction date. Just be aware. IMHO eBay has sellers with faster, more efficient delivery service.

I purchase the Veterinary Assisting Fundamentals & Applications, Hardcover by Vanhorn, Beth on January 22nd and it took five days which was January 27th to confirm my order, provide a tracking . Once, that happend the textbook sat somewhere 4 more days before it was shipped , it was suppose to arrive Monday, January 3rd, Great seller. Great price, As described, Packed well.
