This probe was designed for high-frequency electromagnetic field detection and signal intercept applications, making it a cutting-edge tool for RF testing, research, and defense-related measurement environments. Key Features: All-Dielectric Construction : Non-metallic design allows for minimal field disturbance and safer deployment in sensitive electromagnetic environments. Electro-Optic Polymer Technology : Uses Ipitek’s proprietary EO polymers, which offer extremely high sensitivity to electric fields and fast response times. The EO MZ probe technology allows for electromagnetic fields to be measured extremely precisely without disturbing the field. Background: This unit was developed with hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of funding. May not be operational without supporting systems. The switches they used on the back were very fragile, and 3 of them broke during transportation. They should be replaced, probably with more durable ones, before turning on the machine according to the warning on the back of the machine. This unit was most likely manufactured around 2005-2006 and kept as a lab unit until the company's closure in 2025. International sale: This item will NOT ship internationally.
