A cookbook compiled by members of the Wesleyan College Club, an auxiliary group at West Virginia Wesleyan College in Buckhannon, West Virginia. Most of the recipes are attributed to club members, and include Cuban sauce, fried pumpkin, log cabin salad, Dutch Easter cheese, Lake Erie brown bread, automobile cream, and burnt leather cake. There are also several college themed recipes such as Wesleyan College girls' fudge, Wellesley girls' pinochi, and college girls' sandwich, plus a section of food for the sick (including a recipe for pumpkin pie for invalids). At the end of the book is a chapter of household tips, followed by a chapter of miscellaneous recipes, including a series of toast recipes (for instance Italian ham toast). The book arrived just as advertised. It was shrink wrapped in a box perfectly protected and on a rainy day. I was concerned about it getting wet, but it did not. In fact, it is in exactly the same condition as it was in the advertisement. The seller was excellent to deal with and I will not hesitate to do business with them again if they ever have anything I am interested in.
